Labour’s Godfrey Daniel secured 55,602 votes (the second round total) or 41% of the vote to come a decent second in the Sussex PCC election.
The Lib Dems took 11% of the vote – behind UKIP (15%) and the Independent Ian Chisnall. As we’ve seen in Corby today, the LibDem vote is disappearing off the map.
Good news in Corby – but sadly this week’s elections leave us with a star pupil of Roedean in charge of policing priorities. Watch this space…
