Well, with nothing seemingly beneath him, even grooming, he can hardly claim to be above anything. Apologists for this ‘One Nation Tory’ (read: One Tory Nation, and clear off the rest of you) say it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Nor, from his Commons hysterics, a more petulant one. I would have thought this lot would have learnt from the Reverend Aitkin’s ‘Simple Sword of Truth’ episode. Lock ‘em all in chokey, I say.
