Soapbox, Megaphone, a brigade of Councillors and, errr..that was it, truth be known. Our tireless MP, obviously nostalgic for his hero, the charismatic ‘Honest John’ Major, braves that bear-pit of local democracy, Coronation Green, whilst on a fine Autumn day the good shoppers (taking not a blind bit of notice) stroll and shop in the Farmer’s Market. Not a brilliant photo, sure, but you can almost touch the silence and the empty space…
