Sunday 21st September- Cabinet ministers concerned with domestic policy spoke today and outlined their vision for Britain at the same time as reflecting on Labour’s acheivements (again) over the past 11 years. Lowering crime was a prominent theme with the ministers and speakers from the floor. It was positive to see other young delegates speaking (mostly on the issue of votes at 16) and there was a particularly inspiring and persuasive speaker, adorned with a sash in Suffragette colours celebrating 80 years since women got the vote, talking about closing the pay gap between the genders.
